Explorers, inventors, authors, athletes, musicians, politicians and other pivotal figures in history were on display at the sixth-grade Wax Museum on Wednesday, May 25. The event challenged Delano Intermediate School students to research a historical figure, then present that information in brief first-person reports when visitors arrived. Family members filled the upper level of the building to enjoy the interactive exhibits.
Seven outstanding singers from Delano Intermediate School have been selected for the State Honor Choir.
“This is the largest group of singers ever selected from Delano,” said choir teacher Sandy Meyerson.
Fifth-graders Katherine Burleson, Avery Coder, Koralynn Feldmann and Alexa Huotari were among those chosen, along with sixth-graders Nathan Heckman, Madeline Martin and Alyson Rinsem.

Delano Math Masters students dominated a competition in Hutchinson on Thursday, March 10, sweeping first, second, third and fourth place out of 20 competing teams from seven different schools.
