World Languages

General Department Overview:
Speaking a foreign language will bring the world to your doorstep and give you both leisure and career opportunities. Many colleges require two years of a foreign language for admission. Those who do not either recommend it or require language study in undergraduate school. Modern systems of communication are making the world smaller. Studying a foreign language will help you enter that world.

Course Lists:
German I, II (9th -12th) III, IV (10th-12th)
Spanish I, II (9th –12th) III, CIS Spanish (11th -12th) The prerequisite for CIS Spanish is completion of Spanish III with a minimum grade of B. One must also meet all CIS enrollment policies.

 

*Each class is one semester long and worth 2 credits each.
