Unique school year now underway

The 2020-21 school year began Tuesday, Sept. 8, with some students distance learning and others physically present in the classroom.  Tuesday and Wednesday, Sept. 8-9, are orientation days at the elementary school, but starting next Monday all K-6 students who have not opted for distance learning will be in person, and 7-12 students who have not chosen distance learning will be using a hybrid model with two days per week on site.  Read More

Fall sports season update

The Minnesota State High School League announced today that the high school football and volleyball seasons have been moved to the spring.  Cross country, tennis, soccer and swimming/diving will start Monday, Aug. 17, with a 30% reduction in competitions. The commencement ceremony for the Delano High School Class of 2020 took place at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, June 7. A pre-recorded program including student and faculty speeches, video features and more, is available to view again at the following links.
