Farewell to the Class of 2021

After a challenging school year in which students experienced three different learning models and dealt with with masks, social distancing and other COVID mitigation protocols throughout, 180 members of the Delano High School Class of 2021 received their hard-earned diplomas on Sunday, June 6.

The ceremony concluded the year with a measure of normalcy, as family and friends gathered in the Tiger Activity Center to watch their graduates without masks or strict social distancing. Performances by the school’s band and vocal ensembles were pre-recorded, but other features of the program went ahead as usual.
