Driving reminders for snow season

Now that the snow season has arrived, Delano Public Schools reminds parents, students and staff members alike to make sure vehicle windshields and windows are clear of snow and ice, to stay off cell phones and to drive slowly through campus.

Parking lot monitors noticed many vehicles with obstructed views, as well as distracted student and adult drivers, during this morning’s inclement weather.

In addition, only parents with special permission are allowed to drop students off at the front of the middle school. All other drop-offs must be made in the tennis court parking lot or in the designated lane on Tiger Drive.
