My name is Michele Engesser and this will be my 2nd year teaching 4th grade at Delano Schools after completing 3 LTS positions. Building positive relationships within the classroom and creating a learning environment where students are free to explore strategies, challenges, and new concepts without a fear of failure, are a daily goal.
I graduated from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities with a degree in Elementary Education and a specialization in Communication Arts. I’ve spent the last 18 years raising my four sons and teaching fitness classes, with a short, two-year hiatus in sales - just long enough to make me miss my students and the classroom!
Outside of school, my time is spent keeping up with those four boys - teenagers are no less time consuming than the toddler years, it turns out:). Weightlifting, hiking, skiing, traveling, gardening, reading, and cooking are my favorite go-to’s any chance that I can get.
