Hello! My name is Rachel Holmes, and I am one of the  Language Arts teachers. This year I will be teaching both Language Arts 7 and Language Arts 8. 

Educational Background:I graduated from Buffalo High School. For my undergraduate degree, I attended the College of Saint Benedict. I graduated with a major in English and a minor in Secondary Education. I earned my Master's Degree in Reading from Minnesota State University, Mankato.

Teaching History: Previously, I taught in the Paynesville school district as a reading specialist working with students in grades 6-10. 

I am really looking forward to the upcoming school year!
