Meet Mrs. Petersen
Educational Background-I graduated from the College of St. Benedict in May of 2005 with a degree in Elementary Education. I received my Master's in Education from Saint Mary's University in 2009.
Teaching Experience-I taught one year in the 4th grade in Monticello. I am starting my 18th year of teaching in Delano! I have taught both third and fourth grade at Delano Elementary.
Family-My family is from Delano. I have lived in Delano all of my life and graduated from Delano High School. I am honored to teach in Delano because I know what a wonderful school system it is. My husband Mark works as a software engineer in Eden Prairie. We have a son named Brayden who turned 13 on August 1st and will be in 7th Grade.
Personal-When I am not working at school I enjoy doing many other activities. I am very active and enjoy playing volleyball, basketball, and softball. My other hobbies are being outside, playing games, reading, watching movies, coaching, and hanging out with family and friends.
