Hello! My name is Jackson Lindquist, and I am very excited to welcome you to this new school year. I cannot wait to get this school year started. I grew up and went to high school in Esko, MN (near Duluth). I attended University of Wisconsin Superior and graduated with a degree in elementary education, and a special concentration in mathematics. I competed on the cross country and track teams all four years for the university. I live in Delano with my wife Erica, who is a high school science teacher at Dassel-Cokato. We also had a little baby boy (Oren) last December.
My uncle (Mike Lindquist), had been working for Delano schools for 30 plus years before he retired a few years back. I had been visiting him in Delano ever since I can remember. I have always had a special place in my heart for this school and community. Being apart of it is a dream come true.
Outside of school I enjoy outdoor activities including running, biking, playing basketball, camping, and playing with my baby boy. I enjoy reading about and watching Minnesota sports teams. I also am the Head Boy’s Cross Country and Head Girl's Track Coach here at Delano.
I am really looking forward to getting to know all of my third graders and their families throughout the school year. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns before the school year gets underway and throughout the year.
