Our Classroom is A103 and we have the Knuffle Bunny Character outside our door.
My name is Kelly Perlich and I am so excited to be your child's Kindergarten teacher this year. I have been busy setting up our classroom to get ready for all 21 smiling faces!!
I would love to share a little bit about myself before I get to meet you. This will be my 16th year teaching. I have taught for 3 years in first grade and this will be my 13th year teaching kindergarten. I love teaching little people, they are my favorite!! Their growth throughout the year and their excitement for life are so amazing to experience!!
I graduated from the University of North Dakota in 2004 with a degree in Elementary Education (K-6) with a Special Education Minor. I completed my Masters of Education at the University of North Dakota in 2006 and just recently went back to school to complete my K-12 Literacy License from the College of St. Scholastica.
Teaching is more than my job, it is my passion. I love this age of exploration, discovery, and learning. I believe in creating an excellent educational experience as your child begins their lifelong journey of learning. I can't wait to get to know your child and your family.
My family and I live in Rockford. My husband Josh and I have three children. Anika will be a 12th grader at Rockford High School, Jacob will be a 10th grader and Jackson will be a 7th grader here at Delano.
In my free time, I love to be with my family. We are entering the busy activity/sports stage of our children's lives. We love to be running kids to and from hockey, volleyball, baseball, soccer, and beyond. When we are not being sporty, we love to play and boat at the many lakes and beaches around our area. When I have a little personal time, it is filled with reading, running, and being with our friends and family. We also have an adorable dog named Zeke.
