BIRTHDAYS! | |
We will celebrate birthdays in kindergarten as close to the actual school date of the birthday as possible. If your child has a summer birthday then we will celebrate their birthday on their half birthday. Students may bring store bought treats for their classmates. Due to COVID-19, I ask that treats be individually wrapped to reduce the need to be touched to hand out. We have 23 students in our class. If you choose not to send an edible treat, students could bring small goodies (pencil, stickers, bubbles, bouncy balls, etc.) if you would like. Sending a birthday treat is completely optional.
Delano Elementary School does not allow students to pass out birthday inviations at school as it leads to hurt feelings. You can access our Student Directory which is on Family Access on the Delano Public Schools website. You will be receiving a username and password at kindergarten orientation.
