Mrs. Hohenstein currently teaches two different levels of chemistry at Delano High School:
Chemistry: An elective science class for grades 10-12 that will introduce students to the world of atoms, the periodic table, chemical reactions (very cool!), stoichiometry, and acids and base. Through this class, students will see connections between chemistry and everyday life.
College in the Schools (CIS) Chemistry (I & II) : This series of classes offered to students in grades 11-12 brings the freshman college chemistry course to the students of DHS. Upon successful completion of this class, students will earn college credit. Note: To be admitted to this class, students must meet application and class rank requirements.
