Buildings and Grounds
Our buildings and grounds are an important part of creating safe, welcoming and supportive spaces for students, staff and our community. The Buildings and Grounds Department works behind the scenes every day to keep our buildings clean, safe, functional and ready for learning.
Our custodial team plays a vital role in maintaining our schools. While students and staff are away, our custodians are often hard at work in the evenings and on weekends — cleaning classrooms, hallways, restrooms and common areas, preparing spaces for the next school day and making sure our buildings are ready for activities and events.
From routine maintenance and repairs to cleaning and building care, our Buildings and Grounds team takes pride in caring for the places where our students learn, grow and connect. Their work helps ensure our schools are welcoming and well-maintained every day.
We appreciate the dedication of our facilities and custodial staff and the important role they play in keeping Delano Public Schools running smoothly.
