The V.A. Hospitals provide assistance to Veterans in Need, many of whom are homeless at the time of admission. These veterans typically remain hospitalized for 60 to 90 days, during which they ensure their basic needs. In the community, the Delano American Legion advocates for both veterans and active-duty military personnel, offering a wide range of assistance. Becky’s Troop Care Packages is a non-profit organization that supports deployed service members by sending monthly care packages to those stationed overseas.
