Delano Public Schools recently announced after interviewing interested internal candidates, the district chose Chris Runke to serve as the Interim Community Education Director. Chris is replacing Eric Erlandson who recently accepted a position at a neighboring school district. Chris brings more than eight years of community education experience to the position. The district is confident the Community Education programs will continue to soar to new heights under his leadership.  

Chris assumed the role on Oct. 1 and will serve in this capacity until June 30, 2025. In the spring, DPS will search for a permanent Community Education Director.
