Congratulations Gerrit van Bergen, for receiving the Dave Peterson Award from the Minnesota Hockey Coaches Association. The Dave Peterson Award is given annually to a high school coach who has shown great leadership in developing youth hockey either locally or statewide. During the day, van Bergen teaches science at Delano High School. At 3:15 p.m., van Bergen heads to the ice rink where he is the head coach for the boys hockey team.
