On November 19, two Delano Public School employees were recognized at the annual Educational Support Staff (ESS) Award Ceremony!

This year’s ESS award winners are Anna Stokes, an administrative assistant at the elementary school and Tammy Pulis, a paraprofessional at the intermediate school.

“We are incredibly proud to celebrate Anna Stokes and Tammy Pulis as this year’s Educational Support Staff Award recipients,” said Matt Schoen, Superintendent of Delano Public Schools. “Their dedication, professionalism, and genuine care for students and our school community exemplify the very best of educational support staff. Anna and Tammy make a meaningful difference every day, and this recognition is well deserved.”

This award recognizes and celebrates the contributions of the Educational Support Staff, including: bus drivers, food service, paraprofessionals, hall monitors, custodians, office administrative assistants, coaches (who are not certified teachers), or other positions within the school district. Recipients were chosen based on the following criteria: knowledge of work responsibilities, demonstration of safety, cultivation of respect, acting as a positive role model, displaying a genuine concern for others, and making a difference in the lives of students, staff, and the community. Presented annually by Resource Training and Solutions, more than 100 Educational Support Staff were honored this year.
