7-American History

A.    Course Objective

Social Studies are principles of knowledge made up of, Government, History, Geography, Economics, Sociology, Psychology, and Anthropology.  This Social Studies course will be covering topics in American History beginning with the beginnings of America and up to contemporary America, including current events.

1.    American Revolution & Creating Gov’t        7. World War I 

2.    Constitution (Final Unit in May)             8. Roaring 20s & Great Depression

3.    Causes of Civil War                                 9. World War II

4.    Civil War (newspaper project)   10. Post-WWII & Cold War (choice project)

5.    Reconstruction                          11. Contemporary America (choice project)
