About Delano PIE
Mission and Purpose
Our mission is to enrich the learning experiences of all students in District 879 by helping them achieve academic excellence. Our purpose is to support educational and enrichment programs for the students and families of District 879. The goal of Delano PIE is to directly enhance the school district by providing grants to Delano Schools for a variety of projects and programs where funding is otherwise not available. The focus of the grants are wide ranging, keeping the needs of the students as the highest priority.
Members
Our organization meets monthly and invites representatives from the following groups:
- Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) and Wee Tigers Preschool PIE
- Delano Elementary School PIE
- Delano Middle School PIE
- Delano High School PIE
- DelanoPIE
- District Administration
- Residents of or representatives from businesses within the Delano school district.
