Girls swim and dive team has a strong finish and looks forward to next season

Delano Girls Swim and Dive finished the 2023 Season with a fifth place finish at State Meet, only three points behind fourth place finisher Breck. Delano had strong swims from the 200 Medley Relay (Norah Seguin, Abby Wadholm, Bella Kern and Kennedy Menz)-5th place finish; a seventh place finished from Josie Strobl in the 200 Free; a ninth place finish in the 50 Free from Kaia Georges; a 13th place finish from diver Mylie Pinoniemi; a fifth place finish in the 100 Fly from Josie Strobl; 14th and 15th places in the 100 Free from Hannah Wadholm and Emma Ristau respectively; a 3rd place finish from the 200 Free Relay team of Kaia Georges, Kennedy Menz, Hannah Wadholm and Josie Strobl; a seventh place finish from Norah Seguin in the 100 Back; an 11th place finish in the 100 Breaststroke from Bella Kern; and a final, season best time and 3rd place finish in the 400 Free Relay for Hannah Wadholm, Abby Gierke, Josie Strobl and Kaia Georges. 

Delano will say farewell to four seniors this season, Karli Donley, Claire Forliti, Chloe Semeizer and Hannah Wadholm; you will be missed but you are invited to join the cheering section at the state meet in 2024!
