Boys basketball team ranks high in academics

Delano Boys Basketball Team

The Delano Boys Basketball team recently won the Minnesota Basketball Coaches Association Team Academic State Championship! To qualify for the recognition, a team must collectively have a GPA of 3.5. The Delano team ranked first among the eight teams in the 6AAA section with a team GPA of 3.708.

The Tigers' academic accomplishment will be displayed periodically on the scoreboard at the Target Center throughout the entire course of the state basketball tournament.  In addition, certificates of achievement will be sent to all the participants of your State Championship Team.
