Angela Kalthoff will be available to take photos. The photo packets will be available in the HS office on Monday, April 23.
Junior Girls and their date will take photos– 2:45 p.m.
Senior Girls and their date will take photos– 3:30 p.m.
Only students are allowed in cafeteria during pictures

Students can begin check-in at 3:15 p.m. at the end of the tunnel of the TAC. All bags, and jackets will checked at check-in. Once prom goers have checked in, you will not be allowed to leave the area. Parents are not allowed on the floor. Personal belongings can be left in the synthetic floor area, please limit the amount of items you bring. There will be security.

The order of Grand March is posted on high school office window.

The dinner and dance will be held at the Sheraton Hotel- Minneapolis West, Plymouth. Students will again check-in prior to entering by 7 p.m. The dinner begins at 7:15 p.m. Students will not be allowed to re-enter the dinner, if they leave the hotel. A photo booth will be available at the dance to all students. Students will receive one ticket per person. Photos will be available 7- 10 p.m. Extra tickets can be purchased for $1.00.

The Wright County Public Health is offering a “Prom Pledge” to all prom goers. Students will pledge to wear a seat belt, and not use alcohol or drugs. The forms will be available in the HS office, and must be signed by student and parent. Students will be eligible for a drawing.

We will again crown a Prom King and Queen. DHS seniors will be judged on poise, presence and elegance. They will be crowned prior to the first dance.
Students will not be allowed to wear shoes on the dance floor. Students must keep their torsos covered at all times.

Doors open at 4:15 p.m. for pre-sale entrance tickets; 4:30 p.m. for all others. Pre-sale tickets will be sold in the high school office for $2.00 thru May 2nd. Tickets at the door will be $3.00.

Prom Participation Guidelines

Participation in the Delano High School annual prom is a privilege. The administration recognizes and encourages participation in the event. All juniors and seniors are eligible provided they meet the following minimum requirements in order to participate:

1.       Student is in good academic standing. Students must be making satisfactory progress toward their diploma. In the event that students are deficient in credits, a plan must be submitted to the administration. This plan will include course(s) taken and a completion timeline, preferably prior to the date of prom. Students must be passing their fourth quarter classes by Tuesday, April 30 at 3 p.m. to attend DHS Prom.

2.       Student is in good standing, i.e., atendance, fees, and behaviors.

3.       Students participating from other schools need to have a permission form from their home district signed and returned to the Delano High School office.  They must also be in good standing at their home district.
