On behalf of the faculty and staff we are pleased to welcome you to Delano High School for the 2010-2011 school year. From core academics to innovative electives and top-notch extra-curricular programs, Delano offers challenges and opportunities for every student. Whether you’re returning this fall or joining us as a new student, we hope you will find our high school an ideal environment to further your educational and personal development.
Our focus this year is to bridge the technology gap with our students. Our staff is dedicated to facilitating 21st century learning that includes competition, cooperation and collaboration. Our goal is designed to establish a strong advisor/advisee relationship throughout the student’s high school career.
With an average composite score of 24.2 on the ACT (a new school record!), our students are challenged, supported and encouraged to achieve at a very high level. All students need to have a skill set that focuses on being college and/or career ready when they graduate. We are proud of the academic achievements of our students. At Delano, “Educational Excellence” truly is our foremost goal!
