Delano Elementary provides a positive, caring, and exciting place where all children are challenged to succeed at their highest level. Our dedicated and skilled Delano Elementary School staff is committed to delivering a high quality educational program in a well-organized and disciplined environment. Our mission at Delano Schools is to educate individuals to be lifelong learners, possessing the skills, knowledge, creativity, sense of self-worth, and citizenship necessary to function and flourish in a rapidly changing society.

Delano Elementary is a Minnesota School of Excellence and a Minnesota Reward school in 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2016, which is awarded to the highest performing schools in the state.

In 2013 Delano Elementary was honored to be designated as a National Blue Ribbon school.
