Meet Ms. Eicher

Hello! My name is Ramona Eicher, but everybody calls me Mona. I have been teaching at Delano Elementary School for 30 years. I have taught first and second grade, as well as students with special needs. Teaching second graders is my favorite!

I grew up in Shoreview, Minnesota, which is a suburb of St. Paul; now I live in Buffalo right on the Wild Marsh golf course. I went to college in Moorhead, Minnesota and received a BS degree in Special Education and Elementary Education with a minor in Corrective Reading.

In my free time I like to read, crochet, spend time with my friends, my parents and my brothers and their families, go for long walks, and travel to interesting places. I have recently taken up golfing but I am not very good at it yet! I enjoy watching Viking games with my neighbors and Twins games with my dad (Go TWINS!).

This summer I read a lot of books and I worked on some house projects that I am happy to say are all finished!!! I had a great time playing with Sox, my cat. I think she is going to miss me now that I am back at school!
