I graduated from St. Cloud State University with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and two teaching minors: Math and Social Studies.

I earned my Middle School teaching certificate from Hamline University in 1997 and then my Masters Degree in 2000 from St. Mary's University. I love to learn new things and am not afraid of a challenge.

Speaking of challenges, this is my third year teaching 2nd Grade. I had previously taught 5th and 6th grade at Delano Middle School. It was a very big change for me, but I have really enjoyed the move and love teaching 2nd graders.

I live in Rogers with my husband, Dean and our two kids. Claire is 11 and in 6th Grade; Jack is 8 and in 2nd Grade. They are both very involved in sports and so our family time is often spent at a gym, field or hockey arena.
