Meet Mrs. Knisley

Educational Background

In May of 2004, I graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato. I earned a degree in Elementary Education (K-6) and a Middle School Science Endorsement (5-8). During my time at Minnesota State University, Mankato I took the time to receive a Coaching Minor. I also have my Master of Arts in Education from St. Mary's Univeristy, which I completed in 2007.

Teaching Background I have completed seven years of teaching at Delano Elementary School.They have been fantastic years! Every year I look forward to the upcoming year with my new class!

Family My family likes to spend our summers up North at our cabin. When we are up there, we spend a lot of time fishing, boating, having campfires, going to craft shows, and just relaxing! We also enjoy having pets, especially dogs. My husband, Travis, and I have a daughter namded Madelynn. We reside in Delano. He works in Plymouth as an engineer. Our daughter is 1 year old and is keeping us on our toes. It is fun to see her learn many new skills. She keeps us very busy these days! We enjoy being outside. We love to go downhill skiing, ice-fishing, camping, going to sporting events and spending a lot of time with our families and friends.

Personal There are many hobbies that I enjoy. I look forward to shopping, fishing, swimming, golfing, playing basketball, and taking many walks. Also, r eading is something that I do to help me relax. Did you read any good books this summer? When I am not at the school working, you will find me doing many other activities. I enjoy being around sporting events because my favorite sports to participate in are basketball, volleyball, and golf. I also like to go on many walks with my daughter. You may see us at a park or two!
