DPIE Foundation Info

The purpose of the Foundation is to support educational and enrichment programs for the students and families of District 879. The goal of the foundation is to directly enhance the school district by providing grants to Delano Schools for a variety of projects and programs where funding is otherwise not available. The focus of the grants will be wide ranging, keeping the needs of the students as the highest priority.

Event: Annual Trapshoot

Our Annual Trapshoot is held at the Park Gun Club in Orono. Both novice and experienced shooters are welcome for a day of fun and sportsmanship. In past years, each Delano School has entered a team in the Principal's Cup. Last year, Renee Klinkner's Middle School Team took home a trophy with the highest point total overall! This is held the first Saturday after Labor Day beginning at 1:00 p.m. Click here for information on this year's shoot on September 10.
