DHS Sophomores to Attend HOBY Youth Leadership Seminar

Delano High School sophomores, Sydney Strobl, Sophia Pappas and Claudia Schuler were chosen to attend the Hugh O'Brien Youth Leadership Seminar, which will be held at the University of Northwestern in St. Paul, MN, from June 24-26, 2016. The HOBY organization was founded in 1958. The core values taught during the HOBY seminar include volunteerism, integrity, excellence, diversity and community partnership. Each year, approximately 9,000 high school sophomores from around the world attend local seminars in hopes of learning to be a better leaders.
