3D Maps Teach Students a Different Dimension

Mr. van Bergen's middle school students recently built 3D models of topographical maps to increase their ability to read maps. The students enjoyed making a fictional map of their own design with rivers, bodies of water, peaks and craters. Teaching in a different dimension is great to help increase a student's awareness that the world is not flat at all!
