Welcome to Tiger Kids Club!
We are currently taking registrations for the 2011-2012 school year for our Tiger Cub Preschool program and for Tiger Kids Club.
Please come to the Community Education building to pick up registration forms.
Tiger Kids Club is Delano School District 879's childcare program designed for children aged 3 years by September 1, through the completion of 4th grade. We provide quality care year-round, Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Each room is staffed by a qualified and caring lead teacher and aide. All staff is trained in CPR, First Aid and FUN!
Tiger Kids Club offers a safe and supportive learning and playing environment for young children and youth with opportunitios to explore art, outdoor activities, and socialization with peers. We also assist children with homework assignments and school projects.
We are located at the Community Education Center at 140 Elm Avenue, Delano (at the corner of Elm and 2nd Street). Our center is open 6:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Tiger Kids Club attendance line is 763-972-6210 ext. *106. If your child is scheduled to attend Tiger Kids Club, please call and let us know if your child will be absent. Failure to call will result in a $10.00 finders fee if we have to locate your child after school.
Tiger Kids Club is starting a new parent advisory group. We are interested in involving our parents in programming, managing and advising the current staff. We will meet every other month from 5:00-6:00 p.m. If you are interested in joining this parent group or if you have question, plese call Jackie Jerde at 763-972-6210 Opt. 3.
We offer the following programs: (Please call or stop in for Current Program Rates).The following sections have their own room, lead teacher, assistant or aide, age appropriate activities, outside play / gym time and a snack.
Before School: 6:30-8:00 a.m.
The Before School program is designed to provide quality care for students before school 6:30 - 8:00 a.m. Stahlke Bus Service will provide transportation to school. We provide breakfast for your child. Most mornings we serve a hot item such as eggs, sausage, breakfast bites, pancakes, french toast sticks, to name a few. Cereal, toast, fruit, milk and juice are served every day. Students will have outside time or free play in the gym before they get on the bus for school.
"Wee! I'm 3" Pre-Kindergarten: 6:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m.This program is specifically designed for fun-loving, energetic three-year olds. This is a unique preschool and child care experinece. We address the areas of social, emotional, ethical and academic growth. Students must be 3 years old by September 1. Students must be toilet trained before they can attend Tiger Cubs.Dailey activities support skill development and socialization through: Language Activities, Problem Solving, Outdoor Physical Play, Fine Motor Skills, Social Skills, Art Learning Centers, Rest Time, Pre Math/Science, Music, Dramatic Play and Gym Time. "Tiger Cubs" Pre-Kindergarten: 6:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m.This is a comprehensive Pre-Kindergarten experience designed to provide a foundation for lifelong learning. We address the areas of social, emotional, ethical and academic growth. Students must be 4 years old by September 1. See specific pages for more information.
Daily activities support skill development and socialization through the use of games, table activities and puzzles, "circle time", creative art projects in keeping with the theme of the week, music, indoor and outdoor physical play and free choice time.
Kindergarten: 8:00-11:45 a.m. or 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.Tiger Kids Club Kindergarte program is designed to provide a quality childcare and enrichment program for your half-day kindergartener.
Daily activities support skill development and socialization through the use of games, center activities, creative art projects, music, indoor/outdoor physical play and free choice. Weekly visits are made to the public library and area parks.
After School: 3:00-6:00 p.m.
Student are transported to the Community Education Center by school bus. Each grade level is greeted by their classroom teacher when they get off the bus. Each grade level has their own base room. TKC provides a nutritous snack, homework/project help, outside/playground time, free choice, game and gym time.
Break Days: Tiger Kids Club is open on most school break days including: Teacher workshop days, conference days, early dismissals and late starts. See TKC Break Days page for dates & information.
Students who do not attend Tiger Kids Club on a regular basis, may use Tiger Kids Club on Non-School Days $32.00 per student (Break Days) and Bad Weather Days. (Please call for rates)
Tiger Kids Club is housed in the Community Education Center, locate at 140 Elm Ave., Delano. Children are bused to and from the Elementary School to CEC.
